King Charles Execution

In history at the moment we are doing about King Charles execution. This is a very interesting topic. King Charles got beheaded infront of a large crowd many people were trying to get to the front of the crowd so they could dip their handherchiefs in his blood because people believed that the blood of him would cure people if they have people with illnesses at their homes. The execution was in 1649 and it took place at Whitehall.
